Passion and hope in every phrase of music performed with her violin and piano.
Valerie has performed in over 100 concerts and festivals throughout North America at various venues including the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and the Lincoln Center in New York. 
Since  winning the 2008 San Diego Symphony Young Artist Competition (Hot Shots) when she was only ten years old, Valerie  has been featured by the San Diego Symphony Orchestra multiple times with two different instruments -- violin and piano. In September of 2008, she performed a flute-piano duet with her sister, Dominique, on live broadcast of “A Salute to Teachers” TV show from Balboa Theatre.  
Other recent appearances include San Diego Summer Pops Opening Gala, La Jolla Music Society's SummerFest Galas, and Ventura Music Festival's "Rising Stars" concert.  She has also appeared as soloist with the San Diego Youth Symphony, New City Sinfonia, and San Diego Young Artists Symphony.
Valerie is a three-time recipient of Associated Arts Scholarship, and two-time recipients of Goodlin Scholarship, as well as the Starling Foundation Scholarship.  
Valerie is an integral part of the world famous Perlman Music Program, and continues her violin and piano studies  as the recipient of Starling Foundation Scholarship  at Juilliard School of Music with Itzhak Perlman and Donald Weilerstein for violin and Choong-Mo Kang for piano.
